Lineage
The existing Shajra app remains the center of genealogical exploration and keeps its own files and behavior.
A calm digital home for community memory, documents, events, videos, and archival material of the Iraqi Biradari community in India.
About the Community
Iraqi Biradari, العراقي برادری, also referred to as Iraqi Shaikh, is described as a Sunni Muslim community in India, chiefly associated with eastern Uttar Pradesh districts including Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Deoria, and Gorakhpur.
Community history connects the Biradari with immigrants from Iraq and later settlement in Ghazipur during the Delhi Sultanate period. The community preserves identity through family Shajra, oral histories, documents, public programs, and shared publications.
Summary adapted from “Iraqi Biradari,” Wikipedia.
The genealogy explorer remains isolated from the content system so lineage research can evolve independently and safely.

A private, moderated channel where families can submit profiles or match requirements for careful community review.
Coordinating business and career networking through the Iraqi Biradari Directory, and providing a dedicated space for welfare organisations to list their services and connect with families across the community.
We are dedicatedly preserving the lost heritage of the Iraqi Biradari community by collecting rare archives and organizing them into meaningful public collections for future generations.
